We are so thankful to our Sponsors and Partners who provide their support in many ways to make our work possible and easier.
Annesely Williams have provided a 100% sponsored Skoda Yeti on long-term lease to Blood Bikes East, allowing us to continue providing our service in extreme weather conditions and expand our capabilities for transporting larger/bulkier items for hospitals. See the full story here.
Our first and largest supporter to date. Their donation allowed us to purchase our initial fleet of bikes and they continue to support us by promoting our work through their social media channels.
AXA provides free insurance for our fleet of bikes and has done so since 2013.
Extreme Ireland provides a free secure lockup to store our fleet in their coach depot. This is invaluable, not only because it is a fully gated and secure location, but because it is a convenient location for riders to get to.
The Louis Fitzgerald Hotel
We are very grateful to the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel for providing free meeting rooms for our committee and volunteer meetings.
with the amount of use that our Honda fleet gets, there’s bound to be an occasion or two where the keys break! That’s when the crew at the Lock Doctor have stepped up every single time, day or night, no questions asked and total refusal to issue an invoice. They have also provided us with spare keys for each of our vehicles at great cost, as each one is coded to the immobilizer. They always provide a priority service, so they are our guardian angels.
GP Now have provided support for all of BBE’s logistical printing needs, which includes our docket books. However, and most generously, they also provide free GP visits for all volunteer riders who do 2 or more shifts per month.
Provide discounted maintenance for our fleet and very generous discounts for our riders when they need new equipment.
ID Security provided and maintains all security equipment at our lock-up free of charge.
Thanks to IPB insurance’s very generous donation, we were able to update our fleet with 2 new vehicles in 2015.
Motorcycle Valeting Dublin
Our bikes are out in all weathers and conditions, but must always look as pristine as possible. The guys at MVD provide a highly subsidised deep-cleaning and protection service that keeps the bikes cleaner for longer and prevents rust build-up.
Good Distribution Practice is an essential methodology for the handling of bloods, medicines and medical products. We are grateful to PLS Pharma for providing their training and certification to our riders free of charge in order that the group can become fully compliant with EU Directives and ensure that patient care is maintained to the highest levels when goods are in our care, thereby giving greater assurance to the hospital and healthcare professionals we work with.
Mr. Bullbar has supported BBE with a free tow bar for our Skoda Yeti Emergency Medical Transport Vehicle. This allows us to move our bikes more easily for servicing, saving us a great deal of money on transport fees.
Bleecker St. Cafe Bar
Located in the Heart of Dublin, just between the Mater Hospital and Temple Street Children’s Hospital, our riders often finish up there on a cold, wet day or night. That’s when they are always greeted with a friendly face, a free tea/coffee and food and a warm corner to sit and dry out. They also offer a free meeting place for BBE social gatherings.
